North Korea has rejected US claims that its hackers were behind the theft of more than $6 billion in cryptocurrency from Binance, the world's largest crypto exchange.

The FBI has blamed the attack, thought to be the biggest crypto theft ever recorded, on a North Korean hacking group known as TraderTraitor. The same group was linked to a $1.5 billion raid on the Bybit exchange last year.

Kim Yo Jong, the powerful sister of leader Kim Jong Un, dismissed the accusation as a stale provocation and part of Washington's long-running hostility. She said Pyongyang would not hold talks with the United States while that attitude remained.

On Wednesday, South Korea's military said North Korea had fired several missiles from its east coast into the sea. It was the fourth weapons launch by the North in a month.
