The widow of gospel minister Toluwanisings has reportedly agreed for him to be buried at their family home in Ibadan, Oyo State, bringing an end to weeks of public disagreement with his father's family.

The news came from Lanre Alewilese, a close friend and colleague of the late singer, who said in an Instagram video on Sunday that the misunderstanding had been resolved. The widow, Damilola Olayemi, has not spoken publicly about the decision herself.

She had earlier been reported to prefer a cemetery or church burial ground. The singer's father had pushed for burial at the Ibadan house or, failing that, in the family's hometown of Ikirun, Osun State, near the singer's late mother.

No burial date has been announced yet.

Toluwanisings, whose real name was Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, died on 14 October. His death and the row that followed drew wide attention, with his younger brother publicly defending the widow last week.
